Liquids in Hand Baggage

I need help please!
Im going to Ireland next week for 1 night so am planning on just taking hand luggage.
What is the rule concerning liquids? I've heard you can take hardly any?
As the trip is for a party I will need to take enough make-up and hair products to sink the titanic!
As Im trying to save money I don't really want to leave my toiletries at home, buy some when I get there and leave them behind.

Try googling airport hand luggage restrictions or do a search on these forums ;0)0

I went to Dublin in December and they are still restricted. You have to take liquids out of your hand luggage and put in a small plastic bag to go through security.Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0

100ml of liquid in total in a clear plastic bag
these rules have been in place for over 12 months now, and people KEEP asking..
surely it will be cheaper to prebook your hold baggage with your LCC, than buy and throw out...0 -
oops that will teach me for not searching before posting

Can you tell I dont travel very often!
Is that 100ml in total or 100ml of shampoo, 100ml of conditioner, etc etc?0 -
But I thought all of it in total had to fit into those smallish plastic bags they issue - so probably wouldn't fit "enough hair products to sink titanic"

Get some empty travel bottles and put what you need in them......0

its 100ml in total, in a small plastic bag that'll hold hardly anything..
also, if you have unlabelled bottles, they sometimes confiscate them from you as you can't prove what is in them....0 -
Here is a link showing exactly what is allowed:

I should have just posted the link in the first place instead of being a miserable sod :rotfl: (sorry about that chelseablue
)
Are you going to agree with me now Markymoo? ;0)
(or else you could do what I did and scour the shops for the dinkiest travel sizes of everything that added up to 100ml in total and then get to the airport and discover that I had been a complete buffoon and mis-read the guidelines hehe)0
