Oh no, no, no...you've all convinced me that I can't live without a breadmaker!!! I'd been thinking about getting one for ages - which is fine, thinking is free. It had become a bit of a hobby day-dreaming about homemade bread, no harm in that (I know I need to get out more!!!). But now - disaster...I've gone and ordered one. Was just "window-shopping" in Amazon when my mouse selected the MR 42820 and popped it in my basket while I wasn't looking (must have got that trick from my daughter!!!).

Actually, I blame you Elona and your talk of cheese and onion bread!!

Anyway, can't wait for it to arrive now...mmmmmmmm

Feel free to blame me - the last time I was raving about my Morphy Richards - about six people ordered it from Amazon and then blamed me!

All of them were delighted once they started to make bread!

It also does pizza dough and jam - Yippee! :j

Last week we had my partner's girls over for a week. One of them doesn't like pizza. However, in order to 'test the water' we decided to have a pizza, but to let her make her own. A few days later both wanted to make another pizza as they enjoyed it so much.

OH now won't touch any other pizzas apart from the ones we make at home, as according to him they simply aren't as good.

Made my sister a pizza a few weeks ago...she is now the proud owner of a breadmaker. Have yet to find out what she thinks of it, but suspect that she'll use it regularly for pizzas if nothing else.

My daughters love the bread rolls that I bake from the dough that the breadmaker makes.
I sometimes have my Morphy Richards (£39) on three times a day - between bread - pizza dough - jam - rolls - cheese and onion bread and fruit loaf.

When it finally dies of exhaustion I am really tempted by the idea of a Panasonic

I don't think the Panasonic most frequently praised here makes jam...?

You have really disillusioned me now as I took it for granted that the panasonic would do everything that my Morphy Richards can do - only better!

Apparently, according to some, it makes better bread. Certainly at least one person who has owned both has said so, and I've seen someone say somewhere that the Panasonic 252/253 doesn't make jam.

Neither comments are my own, 'cos I don't know either way. My memory may be at fault tho'... after all, I'm a bloke :p;):):D
