I have been up in Scotland for 15 years and going back to where I grew up in Hampshire:)

Hampshire is very pretty-OH is based on the Surrey/Hampshire border and its lovely there. I live in Cornwall at the moment, but I'll be joining him in Newbury when he moves there.

Are you happy to be going back?

cc...you couldnt get two points farther away if you tried....from scotland to down souf...no wonder it was intensive.....bet you dont know if you are coming or going.
i dont live far from barnsley, where that guy was injured by the falling chimney.was amazed by the force of the tremor, to say the epicentre was in lincolnshire near the sea....felt it down souf, in blackpool to the west and in aberdeenshire ,up your way.

My mother in law is in Wakefield, as is Shaz - I wonder how they are?:eek:

Apparently the flights to and from Leeds/Bradford were affected by bad crosswinds last night. There was high wind in Edinburgh last night but our flight was fine - a bit bumpy landing but the bridges were closed to anything but cars last night.

I have never been to Cornwall - will be visiting once I return back south. We will be located between Southampton and Bournemouth. It is lovely in Surrey too. We moved up here from Oxford 15 years ago, so have done the move before, I hope it isn't too expensive these days:eek:

i know....the wind was really bad all day yesday.....i thought it would do loads of damage....then to end up with an earthquake....i never cease to be amazing by the power of nature.
wakefied, eh?...small world.i live equal distance between barnsle.y, donny and rotherham.dh is shortly being tranferred to wakefield 5 towns division in march.spooky!!!
