Can anyone say some wise words to help me get over the personal crisis I am going thro?

Since Monday, I have felt really unsettled. I haven't slept well since Tuesday night and I feel I am going nuts. I have felt overwhelmed with the packing, since the change of date/circumstances on Monday. I needed some moral support on Tuesday night and felt my OH was withdrawn and I felt deflated, so feel like leaving him. It isn't the right mood for what I have to do. I feel panicky and my confidence draining away - like that dog on the VW ad who can sing in the car and quivers when he is not in the car. I don't want to goto England now - I feel like a scared child, which is the wrong mood for going back and living with my OH and son again. I am also nearer to my mother, and feel this state won't go down well there.

I am eating well, as we are having to empty the freezer. I tried to have a drink but only helps for a short time.

Our son is moving back home till we move and feel the place will be overcrowded. I don't feel my OH deals with him properly and lets him get away with too much, then moans about him.

Last month everything felt right, now I want to run away from everyone to a place I have never been to.

I also find if I feel good in February, I have an emotional crash in mid March. I reckon it is a seasonal change but I made plans based on my February high and now it all feels wrong. I don't want to stay here and don't know where I would like to go. I suddenly went off a boyfriend years ago at this time of year and it never came back. The person I started like messed me about.

What the hell is going on? How do I get thro this?

    What lovely photos

I know what you mean about not being able to use cameras etc. Some people are able to channel their low mood into art, I am the opposite - I can't do anything. Maybe you are the same. I like to associate my art with happy feelings, not misery.

  • cc,
above all try not to panic.moving is one of the top three stressful situations to be in.it will all be fine ,im sure but its understandable to be scared of the unknown.after you are moving along way from your comfort place that you know.england will be wonderful and the south coast is so scenic and theres lovely places to go.
i bet oh is as scare as you but is trying to be laid back ,as men are, thats how they cope.they leave it all to the women cos they know we will make a better job of it:)
i think you are doing so well and am proud of you for taking all the new stuff on.
give it a few months and im sure you will look back and be so glad that you moved and ,of what you have been through to get where you are.
its all bound to be stressful so why not get out for an hour, or read some celeb mag or sit and have a cuppa and watch the world go by.just something to take you away from the moving stuff for a while.then you will have a refreshed view and more energy to tackle it.good luck.xx

    Thank you

I feel I have regressed. I am going to a place I know and used to live near, so it's not unfamiliar. The thought of moving back there made me happy last month but now I am worried about this mood and how it will go down there.

I am angry my OH hasn't helped my mood, I feel undermined and deflated which is making me depressed. We are going to be together a lot more down there and our son will be in the basement flat, more apart but don't want our son treating us like dirt and everyone letting him and I get it in the neck for being upset.

Maybe once I am there I will be OK. I did feel jittery when I got back from my last trip, whether everything would go thro now I am 450 miles away. Everything did go well but as there was this other person trying to move hell and earth to get them to give them the place over us - it was not a ploy, as I went into the agent that sold the house and the a/hole tried to go direct to the owner to get them to change their mind. No-one could have predicted we would goto the selling agent for the specs.

All the agents were decent and gave us first refusal but once I felt once we were out of sight, they might let the other person get it.

I hate power cuts, especially when it plunges me into darkness so quickly. I get scared in storms at night as they tend to put the power out and the lightning in the dark freaks me out. I tend to scream the house down when we get a power cut in the dark.

I had a horrible dream about male criminals making me give my bank details to them and being generally vile to me as you would imagine they would be. I felt bullied and unable to fight them - no-one helped me, I had to face these violent bullies alone.

:hello: everyone. Sorry I haven't been posting much, there's a particular member on here who seems to be following me about, and messaging me all the time regarding my posts, so I've taken a back seat for a bit. I still read all the posts, and see how you are all getting on.
