Just come back from the hospital

My OH sliced the top of his finger off closing the door in the house, the nail and everything. Spent ages in casualty then staying overnight to have the tip stitched on.

It is his right hand, so wont be able to write. It was meant to be his last day at work today, so will have to ring in for him. Also my son and his mate had to wait around and he has a long drive to do later.

Not one of our better days, it was 10 years to the day he broke his leg - he shouldn't get out of bed around 19/20 March!

At least we have a week with minimum packing and doing anything serious.

Milking it
A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in.

The doctor arrived, examined the baby, checked his weight and found it somewhat below normal. The doctor asked if the baby was breast fed or bottle fed.
"Breast fed," the woman replied.
"Well, strip down to your waist," the doctor asked. She did. He pressed, kneaded, rolled, cupped, and pinched both breasts in a detailed, rigorously thorough examination.
Motioning for her to get dressed he said, "No wonder this baby is under weight! You don't have any milk."



"I know," she said, "I'm his grandmother, but I'm glad I came."

I Know i've not been around much, had lots on the go, work, dates and solicitors, one will be going away soon though , can't cope with all 3 :rotfl:
