Samsung E720 Data Cable

Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of where I could get my hands on some free software for my data cable.

I recently purchased a data cable with some free software from a local Car boot, and the software is in chinese, no good to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure to be quite honest its in chinese, all I want to do is download music to my phone via the cable, and without software it seems impossible.

Also there's a trial version of MobilEdit which should let you upload ringtones

It'd be interesting to know what is on the CD :rolleyes:
I'm sure it must have a pc suite of some sort. Have you tried right clicking > Properties and making a note of what version etc things are?
Perhaps some serious googling is necessary

Where did you get the cable for downloading and how much did it cost?

I've got the E720 with the MP3 player and everything else and basically I make calls on it!! I'd love to download MP3's to utilise the fone to something like its potential.

I obtained the cable along with CD from a local Car-boot for about £15, I have recently looked on Ebay and they retail for under £10, and they are not chinese.

I am still having trouble with mine at the moment, free software I found dont work, any ideas.
