"Hi Piggy,
Thank you very much for your email and for your feedback.
I can confirm you are not the first to complain with regards to the PiggyPoint increases and we have been monitoring this and forward these emails onto the relevant people!
If you could let me explain why we have increased the PiggyPoint prices for some of our rewards, maybe this will help you understand why we have made the decision to do this.
The costs in running and operating Pigsback.com for the most part are not passed onto our members. When applying PiggyPoint prices all the costs surrounding labour, administration, handling etc as well the procurement of the Reward have to be considered, not just postage alone.
Based on these business costs, we have had to apply an increase on our Reward PiggyPoint cost as well.
Previously we significantly reduced the number of PiggyPoints so that vouchers were issued in exchange for the equivalent PiggyPoint price e.g. a £10 voucher cost 1,000 PiggyPoints. Unfortunately we simply cannot continue to offer the Rewards at this PiggyPoint price. The is the first ever increase in the costs of the Rewards, and in consideration of the previous reduction, is quite small. The increase is necessary I'm afraid and will help us to continue to provide the offers and Rewards which are on site at the moment.
We do realise that an increase in PiggyPoint costs is never going to be welcomed however our PiggyPoint Rewards are more than fair and generous and in consideration that no cash payment is required, either directly or indirectly to order a Reward and the fact that this required increase is part of the operating cost of the website, our members are still getting a fantastic return from their participation on the website.
I hope this helps and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Lynn"I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -

Well I've just checked my PiggyBank and by the looks of it I never got the 100 even though I definitely signed up and have had winning horse points........
[STRIKE] ....email sent - if they hadn't taken away the extra points I may have let them off but with the increase in vouchers I need every set of points I can get. Wonder if I can charge them a chasing fee.......(50 points per email sent to them)[/STRIKE]
RESPONSE - the 100 points were only recently added to the T&C's and I opened my account to early2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -

I'm one of those others! Here's what I said - no reply as yet:
Hello
Not often I am moved to write on such matters, but felt the need to do so this time.
Re the following:
Newsflash: You may notice that some of our rewards have increased in PiggyPoint cost and we'd like to explain why that is. As we give 100% of our commission to you when you shop with our partners, we will now need to add a small handling and postage fee to some of our rewards. We've kept the cost as low as possible to minimise the effect on your PiggyBank - it's simply so that we can continue to give you more back when you shop with Pigsback.Com.
I think it would have been fair to give more general warning on other pages that this was about to happen so that members (especially long standing ones) who had, in good faith, been saving up their points to order a number of vouchers in one go, and who therefore perhaps do not visit the rewards page itself very often, could have done so before the change in cost. For example, if I now want to order £70 of Vouchers from my Piggy Bank, I will have to wait until I have £10.50 worth of points in addtion to the £70, to do so!
Further, regarding the highlighted section above, whilst it may seem to you that by increasing the cost of certain vouchers by 150 points (i.e. £1.50) is small, and whilst I have no problem with a postage and handling charge in general, it seems ludicrous that the charge of 150 points is applied to each voucher in a multiple order. It would seem much fairer to have the 150 points as a general postage and handling charge which is added to each order, regardless of how many vouchers ordered together (or, if really necessary, for up to a maximum of 10 vouchers per order). From the example I gave earlier, £10.50 is not, in my opinion, a small handling and postage fee, it is a very large handling and postage fee for 7 paper vouchers of minimal weight.
I know many others feel the same as I do and am surprised about the way this decision has been handled. Is any review of the impact of the situation likely to be imminent?

Can't find a CT today or yesterday. Things seem to be going down hill. I earn 20p per day on Moneyback Madness - it takes a bit of time to click through to retailers but it seems easier to get points. Still enjoy PB though, it just seems so hard to get any points and the ones you think you have earned are not being paid out by PB:mad:0

I got my first M&S voucher in the post yesterday which isn't too bad as I ordered it on 24th March. I'm really glad I ordered it before the prices went up.
Just got to keep on clicking and saving for the next one now.

Surely the operating costs of Pigsback are met by the advertising revenues received from all the companies on Pigsback.0 -
