It's like anything - it's easy when you know how! You need to take the 77 and divide it by 50 (I use a calculator - still have pregnancy head!). So in this case it would be 1.54 which is pretty close to 1.

Yesterday, when I backed this horse most of the others were 5/1, 3/1 etc. making them 5 and 3 respectively. Therefore Danetime Lord appeared, to me, to the favourite for that race.

I hope that makes sense. :cheesy:

Im off to join now. Can I clarify the month cycle. Is it a calender month so from the 1st April we all start again and not a month from my join date? Thanks

9/4 is exactly what it says.... 9 divided by 4 = 2.25

2.25 is the decimal odds.

So wager 4 and you'll get back 4 x 2.25, which, thankfully, is 9.

The closer this number is to 1, the more of a favourite it is.

Looking at them the Newbury 1:40 Nevada Royale looks a good bet at 0.67/1 sorry that price was from another site the price shown is 7/10.

Will take a look again later before placing bet and to see what others say.
