Where does it give you the amount of points you currently have? I can't find it anywhere :(
You can also see your points on the home page, displayed after you log in (I have 304 points)

jackwooly - you have 170 racecaller points as of this minute.

You can only place bets up to 30 minutes before the race. It sounds like you are trying to place a bet on a race that's off in < 30 mins.

Wolverhampton looks like your only option for today as it has late races.

Weird wouldn't work before but did now...

Stupid question, how do you know what horses are the favourites? I don't get the whole 35/4 thing lol!! :D

I'll use the example of 9/4 (fractional odds). 9/4 means for every 4 pounds (or points) you wager you'll get back 9 if you win. 4 is your stake and then 5 on top (you winnings).

    9/4 is exactly what it says.... 9 divided by 4 = 2.25

    2.25 is the decimal odds.

    So wager 4 and you'll get back 4 x 2.25, which, thankfully, is 9.

The closer this number is to 1, the more of a favourite it is.

You can view horse racing odds here : http://odds.bestbetting.com/horse-racing where you have the option of displaying the odds in decimal format.

If people are interested in this I could always try and do a daily post of my tip, or tips (ie the favourite in a few-horse race)?

Update: I've been looking at the stats on racecaller and it seems quite a few people signed up today and placed a 5 point bet. I think you will all be able to find yourselves in the pigsback league somewhere around this page : http://racecaller.com/myleague.php?leagues_id=25&view=monthly&p=3

If you had a 5 point bet, and lost, I think you should have 135 points. I guess maybe they didn't give you the full 200 points as you joined near the end of the month.
