Ooh mustava, posted at same time, looks like same recipe as well.
although mines not queen delia, mine was a cheap recipe book from woolies.
  • Here you go, can't go wrong with this one.

    3 eggs
    6oz margarine
    6oz caster sugar
    6oz self-raising flour
    1 1/2tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp vanilla flavouring

    or using 4 eggs
    8oz magarine
    8oz caster suger
    8oz flour
    2tsp baking powder
    1/2tsp vanilla flavouring.

All in one method, basically bung it all in a bowl, mix, shove in a tin, bung in the oven about 190/200 degrees C. until golden brown. I think I usually leave a cake in about 30 minutes.

    Great minds eh gingerchick :).

It'll be fine with out the vanillla toni.

I think 5 or 6 sounds about right.

Yep, just looked on a conversion chart..
The first is farenheit, then centigrade, then gas mark

and I keep spelling things wrong (see above post!) as I can't get my fingers to type properly, it's like I am thinking about it, but I can't actually make them press the buttons down quickly. Should I see a doc?
