hi everyone,
23:13 was me! :j :j :j :j :j
I'm over the moon, because it was the £500 Virgin voucher. The email is sent, (I got the code no problem) and screen dumps carefully saved!
Cannot believe I won this - so useful to put towards a holiday next year.
Best of luck for after midnight Lou and all the other VVs - I'm going to have an early night for once.
MM xx

Lucy, the way the car tax works these days the DVLA should know that he hasn't got car tax anyway and he'll soon be getting a bill/fine - unless he hasn't registered the car or declared it off the road.
Regarding the noise, personally I would speak to them, let them know how loud you can hear it (maybe they still don't know) and ask them nicely if they could turn it down not just for your sakes but for the elderly neighbour too. I did that with one of our neighbours (2 other local neighbours knocked on my door to ask me to join them to complain!) and the music stopped and we had no comeback either - obviously it depends on how you think they may react though and the safer option may be to just report it.
I know, it's just so frustrating they havn't caught up with them yet!!!
We did think about going round and asking them about it until we heard how violent their arguements are!! Then we thought we better not risk it!!! We had already had to go round a couple of months before to say that they had our parking space and they were ok about it, but that is before the noise got really out of hand!
We did say we apologise in advance if our children get noisy (to try and call their bluff - proud of my OH for thinking that up!!), and they said "if anything they would be the ones making noise!!" they wern't wrong!!!!
That was great you teamed up with the neighbours, I have spoken to loads round here now, but the houses are pretty spread out so I don't think they would want to help me! I know the elderly neighbour has been poorly so perhaps I could mention that to them??
I get so cross that I can't bear to go in teh shop where the girl who lives there works - perhaps I should after a night of loud music and go on her till and say "party last night night was it?? anyones birthday???" and see if she realises we have heard.
Thanks for everyones replies!
