Can you get to see anyone today? Should be someone available, or go to a&e and play on the spinning bit, over act, should bring you a result.

I think it's an ear infection, I lie down, the world spins, I stand up, the world spins 000201C7.gif

Yep I think you are right, it's probably an infection of the inner/middle ear

Make sure you get some anti biotics, even though the doc will probably fob you off with just giving it a week to clear!

I know I put off going months and months ago, as I knew they wouldn't do anything, and I now have just been diagnosed with labyrinthitus. So basically I am dizzy all day!!! It's especially worse when I turn to the right hand side, which is the ear I had trouble with (on and off all year!) It's horrid, it makes me nauseaus and I really have trouble in supermarkets!! I'm going back to see if anything can be done as I can't live like this!!! Last night and this morning it hasn't been as bad. But I have had it weeks, apparently it can last 8 weeks, and any symptoms after that is because of the damage done to your ear!!!

    Definitely beg for anti biotics!!!

Hope you get it sorted, I know how horrid it is!!!

I don't help myself by coming on the computer so much! as that seems to set it off aswell. I was having real trouble reading stories to my daughter as everytime I read along the sentences I was moving my head to the right and it was like my eyes were jumping back without me wanting them to, and my brain felt like it couldn't keep up!!

At first I put it down to standing up too quickly and going faint, but then it was just almost every time I moved, and thought hang on this isn't right!!

Just want to feel normal again!!

Good luck with the doctor xxxxxx
