I took out a loan from sameday and thought like a few of the other companies ive use, that if i cudn't pay them back that after a few emails, and letters that they would stop chasing me, but sameday have passed the debt to a company called chequespread who sent me texts, called me etc and threatened they would take further action and bloody hell they have just took legal action against me...., ive filled out the forms and offered to pay £90 a month, is this going to effect me long term....arrghhh
  • Hey guys,
Just been reading all the posts concerning www.samedaycash.co.uk and you are right to be concerned. All I can stress is do not use this site, it really is not worth the hassle.

My partner recently used them, and yes did have problems in repaying the sum, which he did pay in full a couple of weeks after!!!

A month later of having no more dealings with the company he has two sums one of £150 and one of £200 each taken from his bank account in the same week....why? He owes no more money it was all settled in full. Yet they find it acceptable to take money which isnt theirs and never was, it was not even relevant to the amount borrowed.

I called the company and spoke to some dimwit advisor who acknowledged they did take money and it shouldnt have been taken but wasnt sure whether could be refunded....a manager would call back.
Getting close to the close of business I called sameday back and they agreed to refund the money but was extremely rude and obnoxious in accepting the fact they incurred a high volume of charges on my partners bank account. Seeing Id been told the manager and only manager was a woman, its slightly odd the so called manager had exactly the same voice of the bloke id just been talking to...the dimwit advisor!!! To which they proceeded to tell me to shut up...good managerial skills!!!

Sorry Ive rambled...just wanted to get my point across that they are more trouble than they are worth...and since recieving complaints from the FSA and FLA....their company name and details have changed within the week...strange behaviour...
Maybe its because they are now under investigation!!!!

I don't know. It's not looking good with this lot.

I can't believe that it would take so long to roll out an upgrade. It's a week now.

I think something more sinister is afoot :D

Maybe they are feeling the credit crunch too who knows?

Either way, a week is too long for this "upgrade" to be going on.

I also think they are rebranding/merging/doing something or other with wonga.com

Hey...my partners used them before and had no problems. recently however their system has become a living joke, and their dimwit advisors were rude and not much better at providing customer service. Despite my terminology on here I am extrememly polite on the phone....so unfortunately I cant even blame their uselessness on my temper lol
  • Heya...Im not one hundred percent but they seem to be a completely dodgy company so I dont think it would be fair for them to affect your credit. Talk to chequespread or contact the FLA direct...I did and got a fantastic response
  • Hollydays they are just an extremely crappy company....sorry for high volume of posts I just feel very strongly about them
  • It may please some/all of you to know that Chequespread are now in administration. Hopefully this will make life easier to bear for some of you.
