    Upgrading their systems apparently.
Hope to be back up and running by next week Tue they said.

Don't hold ya breath, but I hope they do sort themselves out.

Had my Credit Card cloned and I need something to tide me over until new CC arrives :o

I'm not sure whether to cancel my debit card to be on the safe side? Also i don't want them taking what I owe without being able to reloan. I'd have to pay them off at a slower rate

I don't know. It's not looking good with this lot.

I can't believe that it would take so long to roll out an upgrade. It's a week now.

I think something more sinister is afoot :D

Maybe they are feeling the credit crunch too who knows?

Either way, a week is too long for this "upgrade" to be going on.

I also think they are rebranding/merging/doing something or other with wonga.com

    Hello

Was just wondering if anybody knows what is going as website has been down and if they are still giving out loans, I have always found them to be really good and really need a loan asap.

    Thank you kiri260180
  • Looks ok to me. I had my loan taken back and I find this the best and quickest company to use. https://www.samedaycash.co.uk/HomePage.aspx Try this the site seems finee now.
  • As a follow up I have copied this from the home page.

Hope this eases everyones fears. Explains what they are up to.

Important notice for first time visitors
Following the initial launch of SameDayCash, we have processed thousands of loans and received a lot of fantastic feedback. We are now ready to move to the next phase and will be launching a new and improved version of the service very soon. During these significant upgrades we are focusing on servicing existing customers so, if you've not previously taken a loan with us, we can't offer you a loan right now.
We would love to be of service soon, however, if you would like to be informed when you can make an application please email us at upgrade.samedaycash.co.uk.

If sdcash felt able to contact you under Data Protection rules,to help you, they can,no doubt, give you details of which documents or CARD details they accepted, (No documents?,as it was online and this is in line with their company policy.) I wonder if this was just a clumsy attempt by sdc to confirm your i/d..a bit late some might say..To summarise, sdcash gave someone a risky online instant loan with no hard documentary proof?,now they want the OP to help them recover their losses.I wouldnt be surprised if the Police are not cooperative.

Re telling you to get a crime number,( so SDC can gain permission to give info to the Police),surely if a crime has been committed, the Police do not need to ask for cooperation, they can demand it.

Re your quote, SDC ,of the OP being contacted because of suspicious activity-MY BANK sometimes contacts me about suspicious activity (usually if I have booked a flight) and they do not ask me to report it to the Police ( you are not the OP s bank) and surely you should have contacted the OPs bank if a card/bank was involved,or advised the OP to report it to their Bank.

    Three questions:
Can SdCash please tell the OP the exact law that prohibits them from releasing the information to the Police, during the course of a lawful investigation?
And can Sdcash tell us the exact "name" of the crime thats been commited against the OP,so that he can specify it, (as there isnt any loss) when he goes to the Police?
And SDC,why have you not made any reference to "Chequespread"?.

can you reply to this then? Rather than using this site to promote your company?

PS i notice you have now deleted your original post, but it has been captured in quotes.( Post #5)

Why does someone need to use these bridging loan companies? Is there not a better way? Some employers will give an advance on pay if asked

I am a frequent customer of sdc and have not until now experienced any problems. However, with the site being down has been a little inconvenient. Follwed the link posted by worriednw, requested a loan but didnt receive any contact within the usual time. Phoned sdc and asked them about this and they said that the linked address was not the right one and they were still unable to process any applications until back online which was likely to be this afternoon! Just checked and still unable to access it. Can anyone from sdc verify that you should be back on this afternoon??
