Debt Busting - keeping spends low, more concerned with IT revision at the moment.
Putting as much money into savings per month as i can, i have 1 more month before my loan is paid off, thats extra 250 a month "spare"0 -

Debt Busting: Debt- and mortgage-free since 2005 but still keep an eye on power suppliers, insurance providers etc .
We live in Spain and also still have a house in the UK, which is lived in by our son and two lodgers and their rent pays all the expenses for this house.
Have a ten-year-old car.
Make a roast chicken last for four meals for two of us (roast, fry-up with rest of breast and leftover veg, curry with the legs, stew with carcase).
Still to do: Waiting to get my State Pension in January 2010 so that we have more income and can start SKI-ing* in earnest.
*SKI -ing = Spending Kids' Inheritance(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Still quite new to this and picking up loads of tips from this site.Its addictive.
I have done more cooking than ever before using ideas off here.
Shopping from lists is great.Saves loads of money.
I am putting everything that isnt fastened down on ebay.
Still just about keeping head above water.But just had bill from taxman so feel a bit sick at the thought of paying that.
Incidentally does everone know its free listing this weekend for all items under .99p.on Ebay.

Hi all from someone who is PROUD to be a nerd. Am debt free but teetering on the edge if you see what I mean as I have a finely tuned budget.
