    Morning IA

Stuck a t home today as little one has a stinking cold! Although not so bad she can't watch Dora the Explorer!! Plan to use the time at home to crack on with sorting some debts, earning some money on click throughs and clearing some stuff before the move in 4 weeks!!!

  • Morning all!! My back is shot away from the travelling yesterday, but it was a small price to pay!!

Need to do some work, but can't see AQA being busy and part of me wants to enjoy these last few days of being at home all day. I go on holiday next Monday and when I come back I start work a few days later - I'll have to get up in the mornings

Right - any tips on how to lose a few stone in a week before I go on holiday? :o

  • This goes against what I just said about losing the lard before next Monday :o but I was going to make a cheese cake today for the next few nights pudding. It is something I never normally make but I have some ferrero rochers and I'm not too keen on them as I'm not into nuts so I was going to crush them into the base.

Anyway, I bought the ingredients on Friday and just went to the fridge. Hmmmm, I thought, taking the tubs of cream cheese out of the fridge, these feel a bit light.........OH has eaten nearly a whole tub!!!! He did it whilst I was away on Saturday night!!!!

I've just sent him a text to say I need to employ pest control as a bloody big mouse has eaten half the ingredients needed... ......I give up........

  • I've improvised and stuck a load of whipped up double cream in, not sure how it will come out but hey........ I sent him a text to say I would have to get 'creative' with the replacementcreamy filling ;) :rotfl: . It seems to have shut him up after his useful suggestion of 'use a smaller cake tin' (I only have 1 cake tin!)

The thing is - I never ever buy cream cheese. If it had been me, I would have thought - oh, 2 tubs of cream cheese? Never normally see them in the fridge, they must be for something special! But no, just fridge, cream cheese, gob, pour.........

Definately sounds like mine, he ate up a quiche i was saving for friends coming round. hacked away at joint which was supposed to make sandwhiches for dinner today, has eaten the last of hobnobs i made on saturday and the scones, and the new crisps which were on offer- low sugar' fat ones. My daughter who needs certain things for her diabetes, has a big tin on it now saying "keep off dad its mine!!" Honestly he's built like a whippet and feeding him is a full time job. Everyone has gone out today and will have to buy their own dinner because of him:mad: They have ema money, but its not the point as ds and dd are saving for things at the moment. He will have to have toast in his office and free cups of tea.
