Boiler making a really loud noise.....

Hi please can anyone help/advise me what i need to do.

My boiler is making a racket and i suspect it may be over heating but dont really know?

I dont want to call someone from the yellow pages as i feel they will charge a fortune.

Please can anyone give me some advise?

Does it switch itself off? If it's overheating it will most likely switch itself off unless the over temperature sensor is faulty. If you have a thermometer push it under the insulation on the flow pipe from the boiler to the rads. The flow temperature may rise and fall but shouldn't really go above 80C.

I dont know where the insulation or the flow pipe is?

its a bosch 24i combi boiler.

You might want to try these guys. They look after our Bosch 28i combi.
