the top picture is what you get on the Ghia...
the 2.0 Zetec gets the bigger ones on the car above.

Got them fitted at the weekend..they do look good and suit the car really well... the front two had two new tyres and the back had 4-5mm left..only probs is they are Champiro 50 tyres which I think are budget ones..will try them out in the next week to see if they are any good!

Very true. Get two done and put them two on the same side. so no one will notice any colour differences...

    Damn, never thought of that!

I know 2 need doing but the other three on the car are in mint condition ..not one scratch on em!

I will have a word with the refurb company and see what they say(more than likely say 2 :rotfl: )

Haha... your right... its just its bugging me thats all lol... I could be clever... buy a new wheel which has no scratches and keep the one with scratches as a spare...

I am afraid I don't get 'excited' in that sense when I see a new alloy/tyre!:rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Neither do I. Must be a sales thing. Like them garages who have them annoying boards on car roofs or stickers over the windscreen. The other one I don't get is why do garages insist on leaving the tailgate open...?!

Looks like I may be able to get a scratch free spare for £50 ..which is cheaper than getting 2+ tyres resprayed and I would still have to buy the spare in the future anyway.

Why didn't i think of this before!!

Edit ..final question before I say farewell.

The spare alloy which I am hoping to get is going on the rear.. so front two will be 8mm Champiro tyres, and the back will be 1x 5mm Champiro and 1 x 5mm other brand... is this going to be a problem?

Its just i dont wanna risk the new alloy being scratched if they were to swap the tyres! :rotfl:

I have managed to source a new alloy which is in perfect condition(3-4 mm tread left) so I am going to use that one on the car and the scratched one as a spare.

Currently have two 8mm tyres at the front and the back are 4-5mm with the one scratched alloy.

Currently all the tyres are the same make(Champiro GT 50s)..lol hate em but they were included with the alloys.

What you reckon I should do guys?

    Many Thanks in advance!
