Up for grabs: 2x tickets for Shockwaves Album Chart (London) Mon 25th Feb

I've had an email telling me I'm a winner of one of 50 pairs of tickets for the recording of the Shockwaves Album Chart at Koko in Camden tomorrow night (Mon 25th Feb). It's too late notice for me to be able to go, so can anyone make use of them?

To make it somewhat fair on latecomers, if you want them then comment or PM me with the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you and I'll send them to the person who makes me cringe the most by midnight!

I have no idea who's playing, but the following info is from the email:

This exclusive PRIORITY PASS eTICKET is valid for 2 PEOPLE to attend the recording of The Shockwaves Album Chart Show on the Monday 25th February 2008. Doors will open from 19:00PM onwards.


We are really happy that you will be joining us for this exclusive, very special television recording! All we ask is that you (and your guests) are familiar with the date, time and location of the filming and we regret that on this occasion, no one under the age of 18 years will be admitted into the complex. There is no parking available at the venue.

PLEASE NOTE: AS THERE IS A BAR SELLING ALCOHOLIC DRINKS THROUGHOUT THE EVENING, THERE IS AN MINIMUM AGE LIMIT OF 18 YEARS OLD. ID WILL BE REQUIRED.

The Shockwaves Album Chart Show is the MASSIVE, raw music show for Channel 4 which has truly reinvigorated the genre of music on television, and this show is going to be NO exception!

Top musicians and artists will represent the best of the current music scene in all its variety, delivering the energy and verve of a traditional gig recorded live in front of a true music loving audience. Chosen from the top 100 UK album chart, each show will feature three to four bands all performing live at KOKO in Camden. Koko will provide a spectacular setting not only for the presenter interviews, but also for the live stage performances.

This amazing weekly show is broadcast on E4 Saturdays and is repeated Saturday nights on Channel 4. Forget sparkly lights and plastic pop, this show is a grown-up music production dedicated to the art of music and live performance!


The tickets are printable, so I can forward the email to someone in time for tomorrow night. It doesn't say that the tickets will be in my name, but it does say to show the printed email at the door to be checked off the guest list. I can't imagine they'd get funny about me not being there but I'm mentioning it just in case! Note that tickets are usually allocated free anyway, and it states that Applause Store may take 'formal proceedings' against anyone trying to sell them, so no eBaying! :rolleyes:
