big big hugs Kaz. I'm sure laddo will be fine, just didn't want to go to school with a blotchy red face! The school isn't bad just 2 of the teachers are a bit up themselves. You know where to find me if you need an ear!

Hi, I'd like to join this thread if it's okay? Tried to read the whole thread but if I do I'll never get anything done, so I may not have quite got the hang of what you do....I'm just going to paste the list of what's to be done today and cross it off as I go along. Will be kind of slow going though as we are sharing a sore throat cold amongst us at the moment

Okay I am running into a minor problem, can't work out a button on the keyboard for crossing through LOL

Washing Wednesday- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors done and sofas

    Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything & water & wipe the poor neglected plants!
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Are there any that need rehoming?
Wipe skirtings, doorframes and other paintwork
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. the bottom 6 inches is just rubbish it has been there so long I'm surprised it isn't compost!!
    • rehome 5 things from your house... I don't care how big or small, bigger the better!!.. rehome them! (living things do not count.. that includes pets, insects, arachnids, parasites, children and husbands/OH's)
    • Clean a radiator or two.
    • Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!

    Welcome Lilysue

You'll find us a friendly but sometimes strange bunch.

To do the cross out - copy and past the list into your new message and then highlight a line - once the line's highlighted use the little [STRIKE]S[/STRIKE] icon just above the box you type in - that'll stick two tags with the word strike in them around your text. When it's posted, the line will be crossed through

  • When you are replying just highlight the stuff you want to cross off and there is a button on the top right of the reply box. It is an S with a line thru it, click this and the highlighted stuff will be scored out. It wont look scored out until it is posted though. HTH

  • Kaz - hugs for you, it is very sad when your nan goes. I still miss mine but have such good memories of her (well both really but you always have a fav). You little lad was prob being brave for mum, but I'm sure he will be ok at school, they deal with things so differently to us. Keep smiling. x

Pigpen - They should let the kids take part in things whether or not they have any sponsors, our school is very good and I like most of the teachers! They do ask for money sooooo often for one thing or another. I know it is for the good of the children, but it feels like I give them money every week!
As far as the buggy thing, whats good for one is good for everyone, especially since they told you it was ok to leave it Power, that's what the problem is. Anyway, don't go mad with the head as it won't get you anywhere other than being a 'problem parent' (got a couple at our school!!!!)lol

Soappie - thanks for the update hopefully catch them soon then you can have your lovely birdcam.
Need to sort my life out! :T

    Kaz hugs hun

Pigpen your mood has inspired me:

Mystery shop - service appalling - will be reporting
ASDA - complained about the car wash people as they are starting to get really menicing standing in the road as you try to drive down
Gas van behind me - driver was on mobile phone - I have noted his number how best to grass him up?

Oh and been next door to ask them to have the huge over hanging branch cut off their tree.

    Lunch I think.

I am trying to cut out tea (had my first 2 cups but no more) as somebody I met yesterday said if you cut out tea and coffee it stops 80% of IBS. This is going to be tough but worth a try.
