Pollybear - are you a techy ? Usually only techies talk about blue screen of death  What OS do you have ?

That really made me laugh! I have technofear, I can't even stay in the same room when I turn the computer on because it makes me feel sick watching it load up! I'm on Windows XP btw.

    Anyway, afternoon all:)

Lovely day. Bed stripped and two loads of washing out on the line.

Dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms and remade the bed.

Dusted and vacuumed downstairs right through.

Cut the front lawn - I'll do the back later if I get time after the washing is in.
  • Pigpen and Mudbath - please stop, my sides hurt!! You are sooo funny! I hope your dh's appreciate you

  • by the way Pigpen totally agree about the assist head, it's bullying of the teacher and she must obviously be scared of you or she would have spoken to you about it.

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp

I've been doing the living room and spent the whole time thinking I don't like housework, why am I doing it, there are toys here that nobody plays with that depresses me. I don't want to spend the rest of my life doing housework.

I am falling off the wagon, flying takes so much effort aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Hi All

My goodness lots of stropping on here today - love it:D .

Have been a good flylady and did a quick right through tidy before heading out to the garden. I have mowed the grass front and back, hacked the grapevine but will need dh to help me pull the thicker branches done. Lunch for me and little made and scoffed (slice of coffee cake for me too;) ). Little un can finally ride her bike properly, she now pushes all the way round rather than half way then peddle backwards:j .

Got a letter from the school today got a job interview on monday:j so please can we have positive vibes flying my way on monday morning. Only problem is as I opened and read the letter the phone rang, it was my manager from working telling me she has had a request for a reference and was there any problems I wanted to discuss:o . Explained I only went for this one 'cos its termtime school hours so basically the "perfect" job for me. Didnt realise they would take references before an interview - no mention of that on the application form.

Kaz - sorry to hear of your loss. I know that fact that people lived a full life should be a comfort but its not! Hugs to you all.

Michelle - Hope the explosive nappies clear up soon.

Pigpen - Never heard of a nursery shutting down because one child has worms - pathetic especially the half hearted cleaning exercise.

Well we had earth tremors here quite bad by all accounts but being so tired we all slept through them:o .

Right off to attack a lavender bush - later my lovlies.

Dusty my love.. It IS worth it.. YOU feel better whe it is tidy.. how do you feel looking at it when it is messy? you don't want people coming over, it just makes you depressed when it is messy.. it is so overwhelming.. but you know how lovely it is when it is tidy and how lovely it is when people ring say they'll be htere in 5 minutes and you have to run around like a loon.. you can do this.. you can stay on this waggon.. we will tie you to the side for a bit..

Come on.. HHC 2-2:30.. I have to sort my back room I have the TD engineer coming out AGAIN any time now and my back room is a bear pit!

It isn't hard work.. it is just totally BORING!!!!!!!!!!

It is depressing because its a neverending and thankless job doing housework, but like the wise pigpen said, you would so much more depressed if you didnt do it!
