    Thanks BHB :)

Just realised the MSE clocks have not been put forward, couldn't understand why I posted so early, thought maybe I shouldn't be sat at my desk yet :rotfl:

Ah, they've now changed it - ignore me :D

Morning all! Welcome BHB! Well done springwatch girl, thank you for such an encouraging post! Lst count of how many days I havent had any alch for - I think its about 10 now! Wine remains unopened which for me is nothing short of a miracle! Back to work tomorrow!
Well done those who have cut back even managed not to drink at all! BHB I hope it has started a trend! The more I read the more I think that there is a direct link between debt/alch/depression/generally crappy feeling and the less of us that are negatively impacted by drinking the better if you ask me! Plus its deeply imgrained "habits" that we have to change and thats not easy so the more support we give each other the better!
So from me thank you all for posting the highs & the lows but most of all for continuing to try & do something about it! Hugs all!

Well done all...remember that sometimes you DO have to take it a minute at a time, never mind an hour or day at a time...try & plan some strategies for when you get tempted...keep busy on here, bath, good book etc. Being honest some days I've just taken a nightol & gone to bed really early....not a good long term strategy but in the early days it could help as a diverson tactic. You can have nightmares & headaches as the alch goes out of your system BTW but once you push through that you'll feel 100% better...all depends how much you drink...The more you drink the worse the symtoms and if you are a BIG drinker it may be worth going to the doctors for advice or do some research before going for it? Hugs all...thinking of you today. Go for it lurkio & jo!

Thanks ISOM. I don't think I'm a BIG drinker, but I am way over the 21 units a week recommendation. Maybe I'm just kidding myself.... :o

I don't drink enough to get a hangover (99 times out of 100), but it is regular and it is starting to concern me (must be getting old :rotfl: )

Ah well, once more unto the breach etc etc

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D
