It pays to do your homework online before heading out to the high street, i decided to go get a 6630/6680 with the talk and text and the discount that carphone warehouse site were offering, printed them out and costed them up and went into phones 4u armed, sales guy brough out the manager to see what he could do, i was offered the phone and loads of accesories which i allready had to next he moved onto cash he offered 6630 with 3 months 1/2 (3 network offer) and £80 which went to £100 cash in hand no claims, not bad but £80 of a differance to which i asked would he go for it - no, so ready to leave and i jokingley said if you made me that offer with the 6680 then i would take it, he was shocked 'really i will see if i have one' half expecting him to come back and say no, but he didnt i ended up with a nice 6680 (2 cams and newr phone) and £100 in my hand:j no having to claim and only £10 of a differance to cpw online offer, so no hassle in waiting in for delivery and no having to remember to claim my cashback due and if anything goes wrong i can go back to shop:j
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

But there is also a cost in claiming the money

    1) Postage - paying extra to send with signed for / recorded
    2) Paying upfront whilst waiting for cashback cheques
    3) Always risk that company goes bust and wont pay cashback

So getting a good deal upfront might be more worthwhile

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

Not really as mentioned the postage costs sending recorded and also if anything goes wrong i wont have the the cost of sending it back just taking it back which kind of evens the deals out and for me saves me the hassle of thinking of having to claim when ive heard 3 can be a bit late at times sending bills out and maybe missing the claim time, even taking the £10 into consideration its well worth it for peace of mind.

It saved me £100 as i had originally gone for the k750i which had no cashback deal.

And how many posts have there been for people asking about non cashback deals they dont want to have to remember to send off bills? Saves a lot of hassle;)

Great! That really is a good deal! Can I ask you was it a 12 month contract or a 18 month contract? & do you have a direct link to the deal on the CPW site?
    Thanks!
