Balance Transfer Question?????

If i was to do a balance transfer from old card to new card with 0% offer and wasn't able to transfer the full amount due to credit limit on new card, would that count as monthly payment on old card, or would I still need a payment on the old card aswell.

If it landed between your statement date and the payment due date, yes....would that count as monthly payment on old card...
However, depending on the provider, if you have a DD set up then they may also claim this as well in the following circumstances....
1. If the provider has a policy that the DD will be claimed based on the statement balance (eg MBNA) and ignores any payments made in the interim.
2. If your BT hits the account within 5 days or so of the DD collection date.0 -
