When I went to Primus I also canceled all Calling features so I cant really say if you are billed in advance for them or not.
I know you are for line rental but not for call charges.0 -
Just another thought, I'm being billed in advance for this Calling Feature Pack (1) £1.75 , 18th Feb - 17th March.
How does that square with "Customers who are billed monthly must make at least two chargeable calls with BT in that month" before it's free?
You pay for calling features in advance - however, unless you have another calling feature, it sounds as if you are not/weren't on the 'free' caller display service when the bill was produced.
You should login to the BT website to check which Calling Features are listed on your account. The 'free' Caller ID service should be listed under 'Free Features' as 'BT Privacy at Home' and showing a price of free - not as 'Caller Display' under 'Calling Features Pack' and showing a monthly cost.
You can also change your Calling Features on the BT website.

That's how it should work, in my case my bill shows both Free Privacy at Home and this Calling feature pack at £1.75.
I am unable to change my features online at all.
Just got this line back in June and even then when I tried to get the privacy at home service activated via the 0800? number it said this service not available on my line.
When I would phone BT they would say caller ID IS activated but it wasn't. Anyhow eventually did get it but the whole thing kicked off again when I got Primus Option 2.
It's really no big deal because at least everything works at last, it's just tiresome having to go through the hassle of getting £1.75 refunded every month. Not big money but hey, it's the principle innit? ;-)“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0
