Enter just the once on your own name and use other family members addresses if you wish. Don't forget that there will be literally thousands of entries for this one so best enter and then forget about it with fingers crossed0

Thanks so much for struggling with this one. Glad you all did better than I managed to on that silly housing one earlier in the month!!
I'm feeling inspired that someone here won £10k with ITV comp so hope that luck wings this way again. I'd have been completely befuddled (my word of the day) without all your hard work.

from the t&c's
2.1 The general principle is fairness: entries or votes should be made or cast fairly. If, in the opinion of the Judges this principle has been flouted, they can declare any entries or votes invalid, void the competition, change the competition instructions, or adjust the entries or the voting to achieve fairness, as they think fit. The competition instructions may carry a specific indication, but in the absence of such an indication, only one entry/ vote per entrant (or household, computer or other unit as appropriate) will be permitted.
clear as mud then!
I'm doing just the one to save being disqualified on a technicality.“We are not interested in the fact that the brain has the consistency of cold porridge.” - Alan Turing (1912-1954)0 -
Thank you all so much from me too  I only knew a few of the answers, so I would have been hopeless. The people on here are just so kind "sharing" answers with each other, it makes you feel good :AOur Granddaughter, Caitlin Freya is now 7 years old
, growing up to be a lovely young lady and our Grandson, Findlay Ewan is 3 years old and still a lovable bundle of mischief
one of each, how perfect

Just wanted to say my only doubts are with "Broadway Melody" which won an Oscar for best picture. Unfortunately I have been googling that one along with "the great ziegfield" and have found no images that match the one published.... there is another movie "Folies bergere de Paris" (1935), which won an Oscar but still the images don't match. Here is what I found:

My eyes aren't as good at small print as they were, but aren't those images dated 1955 not 1935?
Everybody's going to have to make their own decision about Broadway melody 1929. I feel that among us we've found enough images to at least match up the weird head gear but in the absence of hard evidence it just comes down to balance of probabilities.0 -
i'm definitely sticking with BM. the images that we have all found match up better than others i've seen for different films, so I'm going with thatWins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0

Hey if this is any indication of what weddings CAN be like - I expect every one to be like this that I attend from today :j (as close as you'll get to a highkicking smiley)

OMG I just found the whole film! I hope to find the exact scene for you.
Amazing how the promise of a dance routine can sidetrack me for hours! :rotfl:“We are not interested in the fact that the brain has the consistency of cold porridge.” - Alan Turing (1912-1954)0 -
Yes I noticed that but in the original search they came as "film" and if you look at the second image, it does say "film".
I have kept thinking about that and found another reason to favor BM: The story is about a "sister act":

And if you look at the Indy pix there are two main dancers (with different hats and black feathers) in front of the "chorus line". So I guess that tips the scales...0 -
Funny how most people are probably focused on tonight's Oscars and we are delving in the prehistoric records with girls in feathers and black + white pictures lol!
