I finally found a 1p fare (on a MONDAY (28th April) from Stansted to Alicante) but it still added taxes!Before midday that same flight was 0p plus taxes, so it went up 2p!
The return was expensive (well, £35) so checked same dates on easyjet and it was cheaper overall!
Conclusion: Ryanair sucks again. New web site is pants.

My Nationwide Visa debit card doesn't say Delta on it any more but it think it is the same thing as Delta - and website accepted it. Delta is lower fee than credit card. Might help other Nationwide customers.

I got a Liverpool to Dublin return deal for 0.00 they still wanted my maestro details for payment. I also had that message, then I entered all the 18 numbers that run across the maestro card and it went through ok.

So frustrating. Have got to the payment page so many times with the flights I want and I had the card number too short problem. Now after starting again it says that they are detecting a duplicate booking for me and if I have booked a flight I should get confirmation number soon. Sooo confused, am gonna give up and keep fingers crossed that my payment went through and booking conf. on the way to me.

Might be worth checking the Name and card number are the right way round, as they don't always appear in the same order on the page, perhaps when you refresh it?

it says "UK mastero" as a card-does it mean maestro-anyway it wouldnt take my maestro-hads to pay with visa-£8 more ie 12 ish

Booked east mids to madrid for a week in may. manchester marseille provence 1 week june(£145 to hire a car for a week,first price given)-not what i was originally looking for,but i will have to do the research now.. edit-found some East mid MONDAYS too if that helps anyone..
