Ok, this is a good one, I phoned about my tax credit overpayment, They went through what I have posted above and included paying £150 a month to my creditors and after that I have a monthly disposable income of £400+. I asked can you send me that out please for me to look at, she said no, She said I could easily afford £200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A month, My bloody jaw dropped. I said no I can't, she says well what are offering, I said £50 she said ok...

The debts that you are not paying towards at the mo are in the region of £13,500.
Do you see you circumstances changing a lot for the better in the future?
I think you need to have a wee think about bankrupcy.

Bankruptcy might be the best option. It could also free up other money to put towards the Tax Credit overpayment.
Are all the debts in your name, or are they joint names?0 -
No they are in both mine and my partners. I would go bankrupt, she would never unless they file for her bankrupcy.bestmumof3 wrote: »Bankruptcy might be the best option. It could also free up other money to put towards the Tax Credit overpayment.

If you have so overpaid in terms of Tax Credits, why are you still receiving £293?
Can your OH increase her income; either stacking shelves, or, if she is at home with young children, even becoming a registered child carer.0 -
Hmm don't know, Its child tax and money for child care costs. The problem with increasing hours is childcare goes up so and the tax credit goes down it eventually works out that you work for nothingbestmumof3 wrote: »If you have so overpaid in terms of Tax Credits, why are you still receiving £293?
