Vodafone Deposit
Vodafone recently obtained a deposit from myself for £1500 for some windows mobile phones, now they are asking for the amount of money for the handsets. I have been in touch asking if they can not take the £1500 i sent to them as payment for the mobiles. They said that this is a deposit and needs to sit on the account for 6 months, as this is legally binding.
I find this stupid as we have paid £1500 deposit, which covers the cost for the phones, yet still have to pay another £1500 for the phones, then in 6 months time we will get a cheque back for the £1500 (if in fact we get this back)
Any ideas what to do

The deposit is in relation to your contract and the credit check & is kept on the account in case bills are not paid. So sadly it is seperate from the cost of the phones
