  • Hellooooo :D

I am the same, I only enter for things I actually want or for things my family or friends might want. I am entering around the same amount per day and have been doing so since end of Jan, so around a month now and nothing yet for me - I am dying for that first win though!

Well done you for keeping going for a long time with no wins, law of averages suggest you will get something eventually!

I like looking in the I Won! forum as that spurs me on - someone has to win these!

Good luck and hope you get a win soon :o

oh no, think positive and I am sure you will win something soon. try entering competitions that you find in supermarkets, etc, for goods that you normally buy. Also try subscribing to newsletters for companies like woolworths, argos, etc, they often send you emails with competitions exclusively for their mailing list, you could win something through this. I have won a prize from Ms London, the free magazine that you get in london.

Does your local paper have competitions? try these as the people entering will be smaller, numbers I mean, more chance of winning. I won a day at a skid pan training centre through my local paper, a discount card for a lovely local restaurant.
Good luck and I hope you start winning something soon.

Keep on trying, just enter comps for prizes that you would like/use :)
  • Don't give up, see it as a bit of fun and if you win something, great. I dont win nearly as much as some people on here but I tend to stick to online comps and local paper. I enter a lot for my 9yr old daughter too and she has a better win ratio than me! It's just luck of the draw really, enjoy the taking part and if something good comes along, great, if not well you've had the fun!

Take care and am sure you will be posting some wins soon - they can take a few months to come through sometimes!

    Cheers

Some websites like myoffers etc don't seem to have many winners but if you entering them on here too I also don't see why you haven't won. If I was you I would stick with onbe site and make sure you do them all everyday and see if that makes any difference see how that goes, hope your luck changes soon, let us know when it does.

don't give up, just keep going. Being blunt - it isn't costing you anything really except time and electricity and it'd cost you a lot more to take up lots of other hobbies. I can imagine you feel :wall: but keep going. Just enter, forget and keep trying. Relax and try to enjoy entering. Just think, tomorrow the postman could bring your first win. This afternoon you could get an email saying you've won, and so on. You never know what is going to happen next, that's the beauty of this hobby.

    Good luck.

Just when I start to think it's a waste of time, along comes something nice...

In 2005 it was the holiday of a lifetime, following the "Sideways" trail in California, visiting vineyards and even a craft brewery, all with premium flights and luxury rooms.

This week, it was the "Real Deal", albeit one of the smallest cash prizes on the show in recent times, but £850 (already reported elsewhere on MSE) is not to be sniffed at. I called my Dad and he'd just won £395 from Vernons!

If you have the time, stick with it. When you get bored, do something different for a while. Go throw stones at the ducks or something. Then come home and write some more postcards...

Only enter the competitions you actually want to win.

Also remember that most competitions you may enter on here have competition end dates that may be months later. You may not win anything straight away but in the months to come you may notice that you start winning a few things.

I started comping on here last year and didn't win anything for a while, but then I started to win a few small prizes and up until now have won a few things that I wanted to win.

Just waiting for the big wins now! LCD TV, PS3, Cash, Holidays, Cars..... (I wish)
