Well for all of your waffle, neither of you have proven what I stated as being incorrect, and notice that I do not need to stoop to insults to get my correct facts across.

Whatever you may think of the Highway Code, it is the only ackowledged guidance for all road users.

    So it cannot be wrong.

    Ohhh I can't resist.

Can you tell me which one of "us" decried anything stated in the highway code? Well you can't because "we" didnt.

Was there any mention of excess speeding in any of "our" posts. No there wasnt.

How can "we" prove anything, it was only terminology in the 1st place, and like it or lump it most people lets say of the senior generation still refer to the 3rd/outside lane as the fast lane.

I actually deliberately didn't call it the outside lane as someone on here in a recent post confused matters by referring to to outside lane on a dual carriageway... ....he was on a roundabout at the time. At least everyone knew what "I" meant.

So far I've had doubts cast about my driving abilities, about my acceptance of the highway code, all of which others, you for one, have suggested. I merely posted details of a situation that could have caused major issues had I not been a legal driver and very aware of the circumstances.

Fastlane, thirdlane, outsidelane, did it really matter in the context of what I was saying:confused:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

I thought that you wouldn't be able to " resist ", despite you saying that was your last post, about 5 ago.. ( since edited by you ).

The bottom line is, you used the terminology " fast lane " which is incorrect, as well you know.

So you can waffle and insult all you like, you are just plain wrong.

I first edited that post when I decided I wouldn't let it drop as you continued to have a go at me and the other guy that chose to dissagree with you.:T

The problem I have here is that you are letting my terminology, that I have apologised to you for, (god knows why), get in the way of reason. I have given my reasons for doing this, I'm sure most people can understand what I meant.

Taking it right back to were PPPL had a dig at me for calling it the fastlane and then continued to draw his own profile of my driving abilities, when I had gone out of my way to explain the circumstances, well that was an insult to me.
What was it? "Number 2, if you panic at the sight of blue lights behind you maybe you shouls hand your driving licence in"
Not your quote I know, I apologised to you for confusing things, but then you decide to carry on.

Letting the terminology used by any poster on here get in the way of the message itself is being darn right pedantic and you won't convince me otherwise.
And if you want to carry on then please do so, always ready to reciprocate in a healthy debate. I can "waffle", your choice of word, for a while yet.

Well as you have now found it necessary to edit 5  of your posts in this thread, I think my point is well proven..:rotfl:

It would appear that your fingers react faster than your brain.

    There is no FAST LANE...period.

No posts edited since your last post.

You are so pedantic, I only mentioned the FAST LANE once and you go off on one, This topic wasn't even about the "3rd lane" and I don't think anyone here has agued that it is have they?

I can carry on as long as you want.

Quote; "It would appear that your fingers react faster than your brain."

And if you carry that on you really do want me to start insulting you don't you?

I'd just like to know what your point is?

Oh and I would have added this to my last post as I would normally do, but as you seem to have such an intense dislike of additions/edits to posts I thought I had better do it your way. :T

Oooooops, sorry, another edit, I'll slap my wrist saving you the trouble.

Perhaps, as I said before, if you put your brain in gear before typing, you would not need to keep editing, that makes 6 in total now.

My point is, ( do I really have to spell this out for you?)

There is no " FAST LANE " !!

FAST LANES do not exist !!

No such thing as " FAST LANE " !!

    Note, no edits.:rotfl:

Anyway, I think I have made my point loud and clear, I am sure others can understand what I am saying, even if you are incapable.

I will leave you to stew and waffle to your hearts content now, as I am sure, like me, many are getting a bit tired of your failure to fully comprehend simple fact.

    Over and out.

    Over and out.

You know I could only think of 2 reasons for posting on these forums up untill now.

One was to seek help or advice

The other was to ask for help or advise

I don't think you fit into either of those two here

Anyone that can make such a song and dance about terminology and get hung up on two little words, well youre right I don't understand.

You seem to have found a 3rd reason, to play god :A and to always have the last word even when you point is not even relevant to the thread.

    I'm sure you'll be back

You may just want to look back and see if anyone ever argued that it is the fast lane, just the fact that lots of people do call it that. I seem to recall saying it was a minor indisgression on my part calling it that. Not sure quite what else you want.

I apologise for editing most of my posts, I'm not as perfect as you obviously, and suffer fat finger syndrome, I'll leave the (sp) in next time for you.

  • Ding ding, time out guys.

You're so far off topic now that it's ridiculous.

Please stop it. Neither of you are doing your causes any good.
