Yes, but you have to dial the STD code as well.the_devil_made_me_do_it wrote:does these 18866 and the other cheap number work for local calls???Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
I hadn't noticed it being difficult at weekends or any other time. I use it for my internet connection, so I think I'd remember the failures. Sometimes the call cuts off, but I'm assuming this is the ISP, as it would also happen with different access numbers.0

Both Call18866/1899 can suffer from this at weekends because they are so busy. A lot of MSE members generally use a CPS carrier that offers free weekend calls to solve this problem. If you don't already use a CPS provider then try Tele2 or JustDialSaver Lite. Both are doing free evening & weekend calls with no monthly fee. Tele2 is free until the end of the this year which at this point you can change call suppliers and JustDialSaver isn't an offer and is therefore an ongoing tariff.GeoThermal wrote:Dialiing through 18866 has produced an engaged tone for hours tonight. Yeah I use Onetel for weekend landline calls. Was calling a mobile though which 18866 are cheap for at the weekend. Probably why they are so busy.0
