I have been a 18866 customer for some time now and saved a considerable amount over the year but have a problem which seems only to happen on Sunday evenings mainly I find every call I make is engaged even my own mobile number which is beside me not being used when I try.I revert to BT and can make the calls OK and am wondering has anyone else come across this problem with 18866.I have reported this to 18866 earlier in the month but it is still with me. Anybody had this happen with them?

It happens sometimes - particularly at weekends.
Keep hitting the LNR button!Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
Yes you are right it only happens at weekends.
Sorry but what and where is the LNR button0 -

Some 'phones don't have such a button. If yours doesn't, just redial manually after a few seconds.Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").

It is common for both Call18866 and Call1899 to become really busy at the weekends due to the increase in demand (more people are off). Do you use another carrier (CPS) for some of your calls like Tele2, OneTel, TalkTalk, etc?
Most members to this site route their weekend calls via a CPS carrier during the weekends as the carriers listed above generally offer free weekend calls to geographical numbers as standard. In fact, Tele2, are offering free evening & weekend calls until the end of this year.
You can use the v4 Dialler from Orchid-Electronics to automatically route calls depending on time of day and type of call, etc.
See here for a little more info on the Orchid Dialler and see here for info on Tele2's free (without any monthly fee) geographical calls at evening & weekends until the end of this year.0 -

If you used Tele2's free evening & weekend calls until the end of this year then that means you can setup the dialler to route calls during weekday daytime only to Call18866 but during the evening and weekend you can have it routed via Tele2 because it would be free.0 -
