I think all the providers are going downhill. With all this competition, you'd think that prices will lower, but all prices are going up!
Tmobile are slowly introducing charges for calling customer services. They used to offer free itemised billing but they charge for that now. Also, their minimum contract term is slowly being increased to 18 months!
PAYG customers are getting bumped left, right and centre! their call charges are so high. To get lower call rates, they're forced to spend more.
3g offer decent xnet minutes but their reception is poor generally.

Are you sure the call centre was based in Liverpool?
I cannot be sure if it is in Liverpool. But on around 90% occasions that I ring Vodafone, the person answering has a Liverpudlian accent.0 -
Orange CS staff all seem to be Geordies;
BT mobile appear to be Ulstermen/women; T-Mobile are Yorkshire; who can place 02 and Voda?
Naturally they can move these calls wherever there is call-centre capacity at a flick of the switch, so we can all have a bit of fun playing Professor Higgins with their accents if we feel like it. Why not just ask if your interested. I'm sure such a human-interest question will enliven the operator's working day, and you might even get a bit of enhanced service.0
