Otelo issue
My understanding is that you can only appeal to Otelo (Telecomms obudsman) if you have had a decision from the company. In my case I have written to o2 (the contractor) twice and they have failed to reply or make any attempt to contact me- leaving me with a contract but no phone for over two months. Any advice on what I should do next would be appreciated.

To make a complaint to Otelo you must have been in dispute, from the first notification call, letter or email, for 12 weeks. Or if the company you are in dispute with, o2, has sent you a letter saying that the matter cannot be taken any further, a deadlock letter.
It is a simple proceedure and they are quite helpful but don't let it raise your hopes of Otelo finding in your favour. Saying that give it a go.....0 -
Thank you for the advice. Does this mean from the first telephone call making a complaint or from the frist letter I sent? Grateful for guidance on this.0

Sindy2010,
Either letter or call, it's when you made 'first contact' informing them of the problem.
Good luck0
