BT socket install ?

All joking asside.
Its easy, give it a go.
If you get stuck come back and ask.
Start by buying a new slave box and fit it to location you want it.
Then wire it up with cable Pins 2 and 5 (I would use CAT 5 these days).
Then run cable towards the BT socket, cliping it tidy as you go.
Then open up the BT NTE box.
Connect the same two/three wires you connected to the other box to the bit in your hand (not the part attached to the wall) on pins 2 and 5 and maybe the third wire to 3 (bell).
Put the BT box back together (2 screws) and jobs done.0 -

If you really want someone else to do it.
Do what I said but dont connect the wires get the local guy to do that.
Would only cost you an hour at the most.
A BT hour is £90 pluss.
If it's for ADSL use I would just connect wires 2 and 5, leaving 3 the bell wire out.0
