Memory Stick Help

I have a Sony DSC -W7 digital camera and currently have a 512mb memory stick pro but want to buy a new one, maybe 2G

Only thing is I cant see where they are , all seem to be Pro stick Duo and im confussed as that would need an adaptor but there is no room for any adaptor on my camera?

Anyone help?

yes the little ones usually come with the stretch adapter, I bought SanDisk, seems to do the job, be careful if your buying large size Sony sticks off ebay, there are known to be a lot of fakes about.
P.S. don't panic the adapter is the same size as an original memory stick.

But are they not wider? the one i currently have is about 20mm thick
Are those ones not twice as big? if so they wouldnt fit in my camera??

Memory stick Duo is the small form factor in terms of length otherwise they are exactly the same width and depth. If you buy a decent brand you will get an adaptor, the only thing to watch for is that some of the older cameras can't handle the larger sizes of stick. Hope that helps.

It should be fine, does it say it comes with an adaptor? It will if it's a genuine Sony all my Duos did.
