Cleaning A TFT Screen.

Any ideas on how to clean fingerprints off an LCD sreen as there is no mention in the instruction book.

i use microfibre sa mentioned and works great (on both laptop and pc)0 -
You can get special screen cleaners but to be honest a well wrung out microfibre (or other lint free) cloth does as good a job and costs a fraction.0

I use the freebie 'refresher' wipes you get from KFC - does the job for me ;-)0

actually, i too use the KFC refresher too! the refresher are useless after a BIG bucket KFC but perfect for clean TFT screen0

If these have alcohol in them you shouldn't be using these I believe - they can damage the screen0 -
Quite the opposite - alcohol-based solutions are recommended by some manufacturers.
Things they don't recommend are - Glass cleaner, furniture polish & detergents.
In any event, it would take alot of hard scrubbing with any solution for a prolonged period to do any damage at all anyway0
