Sony Ericsson K800i - is it dead???

My husband's Sony Ericsson K800i decided to give up last week. It is just over a year old, and was working fine. He turned it off when he went into a meeting, and when he turned it on again, it wouldn't work. All it does now is vibrate a couple of times (like they always do on startup) then sticks on a white screen, with the occasional vibrate almost like it's trying to boot up but can't. Is it terminal, or is there some sort of reset that we could try? It's just that I nicked his replacement phone off him when when he upgraded, and don't really want to give it back (and he refuses to use my old Nokia)!!!! Thanks in advance

Louise
