Being a bit stupid here but what does SOA stand for? Is there a list on this site for abbreviations? Some of them I get but others I just guess and hope for the best!0

Hi chuck
Thanks for that.
Please get hold of CCCS or CAb and talk to them. Will post the links in a minute.
in the mena-time - stop gettign anything more through the catalogues and stop using the CCs.
You do need to find out what the APrs are.
I understand your angst about fertility treatment, but you are only 25 at the mo and the stress of all this will not be helping. Better to get this sorted and then think about the IVF.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
here is the link to the list of debt charities. Give them a call and they can help you.
Or do the debt remedy at CCCS on-line.

ras. thanks again. well the stress is not helpin but wen u av bin tryin for so many yrs n lost so many babies its hard to put off the ivf n hats why we wanna save money n hopefully get saved up for the treatment n handle our debts all at the same time.
i done the cccs thing it said we needed iva or dmp n its goin down that route which am not to sure about or if it will be best option for us. bin in touch wiv payplan too n their ringin back tomoz for a 45 min phone appointment, also spoke to another company who r sendin us a info pack out for DMP as they think we shud do that but they also want fees.
i dont know wot to do or wot will be best for us
thanks ras0 -

Hi Buster
SOA stands for Statement of Affairs – basically a list of all your incomings and outgoings, debts and their APRs.
You're not the first person to ask about abbreviations – most of them seem to be on the list below.

Sorry if I asking an obvious question but the household income £1800 a month. Is that right it seems rather low if there are two adults in the household working and does that included any benefits. I assume you are both earning after tax £900 each.
Also even if you are in contract with sky/mobile phone just ring them up and tell them that you want to drop to the lowest tariff as you need to cut back.
I know you don't want to hear it but as you are only 25 years old I think you will have to put back IVF by a few years as you really can't afford it.
Also you need to look at extra ways to make money.
All the best.
Yours

I think Sofedup's income appears low because her husband is in the Armed Forces, so rent for their accomodation is taken out from his wage.
Also, only 1 income at the moment.0
