Batteries hold a lot of energy, even in your average car. Many years ago a friend of mine was working in the garage, he maintained a fleet wagons, heavy vans and stuff for his company. No one not even he knows exactly what happened but shortly after getting out from under the bonnet of one vehicle, (he had been laid accross the battery) as he walkes away there was an almighty explosion. The batteries back then used to have a ball in the neck of each cell. These were blown clear through the corrugated roof of the workshop:eek:
In all my life as an engineer I have steered well clear of wearing jewellry when working, this quote is a prime example of why.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
