Orange upgrade - free MMS trial WARNING
Options
Apologies if this has already been posted - I did a quick search but could not find it...
I upgraded my phone with Orange just before Xmas, and was told that I was being given a 30 day trial of the picture message bundle, up to 30 free MMS messages. However they didn't tell me that once the 30 days is up, I would start being charged for the service (seems to be £3 a month). I only found out when I got my latest bill.
I rang up to complain and they have cancelled the bundle and refunded my charges from today's date but this still leaves me a couple of quid down.
I know lots of free trials work like this, but normally they at least tell you that this is what will happen!
On top of this, when I was in the free period, where I sent the same picture message to multiple people I only seem to have got the first one free and been charged for the others, even tho I didn't use up my full quota of free messages.
As I am only down a couple of quid I gave up trying to explain myself to the Orange CS after a few minutes, but just a word of warning to anyone esle who is offered this 'service'.
