The IMPDA will be holding a press conference on Wed, 20th February at the Palace of Westminster.

There will be a wide range of Press attending for the launch of the IMPDA's proposals.
Hopefully the Networks will see that the IMPDA wishes to bring trust back, where a lot of the companies who are mentioned on this forum have tarnished the industry.
They have the support of Trading Standards and many Govenment Ministers.
Ofcom, although they cannot endorse the proposal at this stage as they have their own consultation taking place, do agree with many of the points raised.
The IMPDA do not want to kill competition or the facility to offer Cash-Back deals, but they want to make it fairer and more transparent for you, the customer.

Thanks for sharing this.
A bit too much being done too late however imho... with all the other companies going down and the burned distributors not selling to small dealers, this will just end up being applied to the carphone warehouse group and phones4u..
Are there any more cashback deals working at the moment?
Yes sure, e2save might move to a 60 day period instead of 30 for accepting the claims, but I don't think that was actually a big problem, I mean 30 days is already plenty if you do any minimal effort of organizing your calendar.0 -
This is probably related to http://www.mobilenewscwp.co.uk/News/10488/tmobile_signs_up_dealer_mvno.html in some way as they bith have the same guy running them both.0
