pleeeeease dont give them 12 months rent up front - 6 months is ample - you may not like them, they may want you out and then its much more difficult to get the rent back
  • Cheers mate, I decided that soon after my post

I mean we are thinking to start us off, just rent it short term for 6 months and pay 6 up front, and then they should have no Issues with Risk of us not paying as already paid

Then after 6 months may be in a better position to just rent monthly in our names
  • Hello Again Everyone,

Just thought Id come on and thank Everyone for their advice, I spoke to the Agent the Other day and came clean on everything, and instead of putting Application Forms through and probably wasting a lot of time waiting for decision which i knew would be Rejected anyway, we talked and agreed on a 6 Month Term and paying Everything upfront, which in the long run is quite good, as the onus is on us now to save it back up, but even if we have problems, worst scenario is we don't save back our savings, but at least we will not end up with knocks on the door, demanding money.

Anyway, we move in on Friday week, so its off to pay for my LCD and then who knows LOL.

However, I ain't going near IKEA, as I know by next week, all my savings will be gone lol

Anyway, thanks again to Everyone and i may be back on here in a few months after we are in a better position to get a Mortgage :)
