Never give a prize coin out- i used to save those choccie coins:o bad mum that i was with sugar and all..:rotfl: Still they loved the little trail of Golden coins. They would be seen wriggling others out for more of them..
Cost next to nowt and precious £2 coins get to live another day.:D

More to add: -- when the word snowball doesn't conjure up visions off wintery fun or a cocktail.
- When you can't tell if your washings still damp or just really cold because you refuse to put the heating on.

You have the whole family making 'newspaper pots' to grow veg seeds in (obviously we get people to save newspapers for us, we don't buy them).
Buy next xmas presents in Jan sale (obviously saved up the whole year before so don't pay interest on credit cards/loans.
Buy everything possible on tesco credit card (and pay off each month) to get as many points as possible.
Every holiday has been reduced before booking and topped up with a £9 travel lodge.
Everything possible is composted=free compost for my allotment
Our TV is 15 years old but it is staying until it breaks (even though it needs 2 people to lift it and if people on tv stand at the side of the screen we can no longer see them as tv now seems to cather for wide screens)
White vinegar, bi-carb, olive oil and lemon juice do all my cleaning
I am proud that my 'rubber chickens' stretch so far
I can shock family and friends when i tell them how cheap our food bills are
My children don't feel they miss out on things but they realise that money doesn't make you happy. They realise that it says more about people who have to have designer clothes, shoes, bags etc than people who don't
Money saving have bought some lovely nights in with my family which i will treasure for ever.
1p bowling has given us lots of laughs
Kids cheap cinemas are a regular occurance in our house and we have fun sneaking our own drinks and sweets in.
Can't get babysitters so me and my DH meet at home at lunch time and have a 'posh candle lit oldstyle' meal...it feels like a real treat

I put my Christmas decs away the other day and spent more time and care doing that than when they went on the tree to make sure they are in perfect condition next year so I won't have to buy any more!Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000 -
