    Many thanks...

I saw this simplyfone thing recommended in a local newspaper article but your 'link' explains it very well.

gotta say i recommended it to a friend who has about 500 unused free minutesand she's really pleased too - using it to call india

How come nobody thought of this before or has it been around for years & twit that i am - i just found it out now!

    cheers

I think Grumbler is being sensible - I took out an orange contract inorder to use simplyphgone and now no longer use it al all (luckily with the cash back and selling the handset I am still quids in). When orange started charging they failed to notify users, several of whom got large unexpected bills.
So the answer is do be aware of the issues but do not ring t-mobile / o2 to check whether the number is included, they of course monitor CS calls and will catch on sooner the more people do this.
    I think....

They also read sites like this, and are well aware of the 07744 facility, they also they have equipment which flags up when an excessive number of calls are made to one particular no.Make hay while the Sunshines.

Do you mean they are coming out of your inclusive minutes?

I also saved a few pounds using simpli-fone instead of a landline with 1p/min charge. Then I lost £60 pounds in a few days and it took me 3 letters and more than a month to get this money back from Orange ...
Remember: you usually save 1p/min, but if things change you start losing at least 35p/min.
When using 07744.... just don't forget to check your inclusive minutes balance regularly to make sure that minutes still go from this balance...
