I am not totally sure but I think a cup = 8ozs. Please correct me anyone if I am wrong xx
Will certainly be checking out those links, I have already made Laundry Detergent & My own Castile soap. I get a strange enjoyment out of it so will check the other things I could make :-)0 -

Do you have any international type supermarkets near you? I used to go to an Asian one and buy citric acid for about £1.60 for a huge kilo bag. I buy trade now as I make a lot of them but you can certainly save a bob or two by looking in the international supermarkets.0 -
I don't know of any but I shall have to look into it. Thanks.

Thanks for the links to the recipes. I will have to work out what a cup size is.
A cup is 250 mil.
Just use a measuring jug, even for dry ingredients, and make sure the contents are level.
Cup sets are widely available in most major stores these days, some for as little as £2Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi Calley,
There was a recent thread on making bath bombs that should help and some of the experts on there should be able to advise you so I've added your thread to it to keep all the replies together.

Geranuim and lavender would be great - eucalyptus might be a bit strong but along with citronella could be used in an oil burner to deter insects in summer, or alone can be used as a cleaner - Google "eucalyptus oil cleaning" for loads of ideas.0

I agree was not going to use the eucalyptus and citronella in bath bombs but as long as that is the type of oil to use then I will get a kit.
