I made these ones the other day http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i119/cooip/bathbombs.jpg

I'm going to be making them on Martins show so I made some for on my blog. I shall be putting a step by step on but I havent written it yet!

Its just 2parts Bicarb to 1part citric. You can go more on the bicarb but that will cut down the fizzing.

Thanks for the links to the recipes. I will have to work out what a cup size is.

    They are lovely....
  • Angelina your bath bombs look very professional.
I was also interested in your Buffy-type massage/scrub bars that you have on your blog.
Where do you get your supplies of ingredients from?

    Thank you.

I do enjoy a nice bath and its the only thing that I make and actually perfume. Usually I wont use any fragrances or anything (except essential oils) I like to have a bit of fun with bath bombs.

I get my butters from a co-op. I have a friend who is from Africa but lives over here and she sorts it out. Basically when I'm getting low on stock I email friends and people who have been in the co-ops before and ask if they need anything. Then I club together all our orders and my friend contacts her family who place the order in the village and its made fresh for us.

Fair trade at its finest! I love being part of it, knowing that my money goes directly to the village and not a fat middleman. Yes I have to wait for it to arrive but its been specially made for me and I feel honoured.

I'm hoping to visit my friends family in the next year or so. I cant believe I've got an invite to visit! :A
  • I was wondering where you got citric acid from. Is it easy to come across?
