  • Hey everyone :) - Baltic here as well, but lovely and saving by sitting in world's most over heated office...

Anyway today I am: Writing down my spends in my Money Diary... which may be the single most money saving thing I've ever done.

Go to Farmfoods on the way home to stock up with cheap essentials - using a basket so I can't be persuaded to buy more than I need and can carry!

    Do my clicks!

Morning all, hoping to have a productive day today.

    My dfw things are/have been
-I managed to get all my huge pile of washing done yesterday and have now moved onto washing the very filthy sofa covers. Not exactly dfw wanabe but makes me feel productive and makes my house clean.
-Do any surveys i may have received.
-I intend to count up some loose change so i can take it to the bank when i go into town
-I intend to make store cupboard meals today
    -check online banking
-Hopefully place a matched bet later
-Pay my mum the money i owe her
-Look at switching gas and electricity suppliers
-Go into town but hopefully buy nothing
-Have been looking for more mystery shops but none as yet

On top of that i will be busy studying, doing housework and getting up to date with everything.

What course are you studying Sophiesmum?

    Hi Andan,
This year I am doing Making Social Worlds DD308 , and Approaching Literature A210.
The literature one is for fun, to have a break from the social science stuff that I have been doing. Doing 90 points this year which is not too bad but takes a bit of discipline when you are working full time too.
Are you studying with the OU too???

  • Hi

    Today I:
    * got the bus to and from work for free using bus pass
    * am cooking omlette and chips for tea
    * will 'do' my receipts for self-employed business
    * will maybe make some brownies, if not, then crispie cakes!
    * will work on some stuff for work which I can claim hours for
    * will dig out a thank you card that I have lurking in my 'useful card' box!

    Hi all!

    Today I have...

    ~ done piggyclicks/survey checks
~ taken lunch to work, and made dinner from storecupboard/freezer
~ charged my mobile phone at work :p
    ~ checked online banking
~ tonight Mr P has made a big batch of his yummy curry sauce base, using storecupboard ingredients. I suspect we will have one portion in the next day or so (am fancying spinach & chickpea...), but there will be at least 3 portions to freeze for future use. Delicious! :D
