Tuesday 19/02/08 What small dfw thing have you done today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I will
Check online banking
Do Clicks
Use up an unopened xmas pud for afters
Order some needed books for my OU course through quidco
Make quorn chilli for tea and make enough to freeze a big batch too for another day:D

Hope everyone has a good day. Still sunny here but icy cold today:cool:
Hi to any new posters:D

I am at home today with the girls, DD1 (4) and DD2 (1.5.) My DFW thing for today is making HM cookies. Doing a big batch for snacks and also because OH likes them too in a kinda "hope no one saw me steal the kids cakes for my pack up" type way :D

Deliberately didn't buy any cakes or biscuits yesterday when I did the shopping so it'd spur me on more to do baking. I love it but haven't found the time recently. Got into it again last week when made chocolate brownies which went down a storm so feel all encouraged :j

-Have been looking for more mystery shops but none as yet

On top of that i will be busy studying, doing housework and getting up to date with everything.
